Secure-A-Lift
This new, patent-pending device is used to stabilize boat lifts during high wind events.
Our product started as an idea to help boat and lift owners in southern Florida prepare for storms. Our goals were simple – to make a simple to operate, robust product to prevent the wild swinging of boats and lift cradles during high wind events. We wanted to make sure all the parts necessary for securing the lift cradle were always present right on the lift. We wanted to make sure our product could stand up to the harsh saltwater environment. We wanted to make sure our device would protect our customer’s investment in their boat, boat lift, and dock from damage due to excessive motion caused by the wind.
We went through several design iterations of our patent-pending securing chain system that allows our customers to secure their boat lift cradle in minutes, without any tools!. Our engineer utilized the latest in Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) simulation technology to evaluate the performance of our components and securing system. In-field testing of several iterations of our securing brackets allowed us to dial-in on a design that was easy for our customers to operate. The simplicity of the design allows for cost effective manufacturing and logistics, allowing us to provide an affordable product to our customers. We engineered in adjustability so that our product can be installed on both new boat lifts and existing boat lifts.

About Us
No drilling or cutting of any metal boat lift part is required with our clamp-on system. Being boaters ourselves, we understand how harsh the salt-water environment can be on metal components. That’s why we engineered our product using all stainless steel components to provide many years of reliable service life.
Our kits come with all the brackets, securing chain, and hardware necessary to install one of our devices at each corner of your 4-post boat lift. We have several different sizes available, and the size you need is determined by the height and width of your lift cradle I-Beam. Click on the “View Our Products” button for more information on our product sizes and offerings.
No searching for last year’s ratchet straps. No trips to the hardware store for new straps. No fussing with positioning the straps on the lift to make sure they will stay in place when the storm comes through. Just grab the securing chain and drop it in the slots on the piling bracket at each corner. Once the Secure-A-Lift system is installed on your boat lift it takes only minutes to engage. Strong enough to stand up to high wind storm events, yet simple and easy enough to use every day in case an afternoon thunderstorm pops up.
